How We Compare Yono Apps
Last updated: August 9, 2026
All Yono Official evaluates and compares Yono-branded rummy, slots, spin and bingo apps. This page explains exactly what we check before an app appears in a comparison, what we currently do not have evidence for, and how any "compared," "documented" or tier-based language on this site is produced. We would rather show a gap honestly than fill it with an invented number.
What We Actually Check
Each criterion below is based only on evidence we can point to on the app's own listing. None of these are star ratings or 1–10 scores — we use plain qualitative labels instead, because the underlying evidence doesn't support finer precision than that.
| Criterion | What it measures | Evidence source | How it's assessed | Limitation |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Official access source | Whether a clearly labeled official download/access link is published for the app | The link shown on the app's own page | Disclosed / Not yet available | We confirm a link is published and labeled; we do not independently audit the operator behind it. See our Disclaimer. |
| Documentation completeness | Whether a full walkthrough (APK, referral code, login, withdrawal) has been published for the app, beyond the short listing | Presence of a dedicated App Guide on this site | Fully Documented / Core Listing Only | Reflects our publishing order, not the app's quality — a "Core Listing Only" app may still work fine, we just haven't written its guide yet. |
| Independent verification depth | Whether we've published dedicated checks on official-website identity, launch status, or a specific promotion (beyond the standard listing template) | Presence of a dedicated verification/launch-status article | Full Coverage / Standard Coverage | Only a small number of apps currently have this deeper coverage. "Standard Coverage" is not a negative mark — it just means we haven't built extra verification content for that app yet. |
| Terms disclosed on listing | Whether the sign-up bonus and minimum withdrawal are stated on the app's page | The figures shown on the listing itself | Disclosed | These figures are set by the app operator and are not independently audited by us. Treat the app's own wallet/offers screen as the source of truth, not this site. |
| Safety & scam-awareness coverage | Whether general safety guidance (link-checking, scam patterns, promo/referral/withdrawal red flags) is available for the category this app belongs to | Our safety & verification blog cluster | Covered (applies uniformly across listings) | This is baseline coverage, not a comparison point between apps — every listed app links to the same safety guidance. |
| Listing recency | Whether the app was added to this site recently, based on a dated post (a launch announcement or similar) | Dated blog posts tied to the listing | Recently Added / Established Listing | "Established" reflects time in our catalogue, not a quality judgment. |
What We Do Not Yet Have Evidence For
We do not currently maintain any of the following, and we will not label a comparison with them until we do:
- Star ratings or review counts — we removed a uniform, unsourced rating that previously appeared across most listings because it did not reflect any real aggregated review data. See our Disclaimer.
- App size / technical specs — these varied by app but were not independently verified per app, so we no longer display them as a fact.
- Popularity, install counts, or usage data — we don't have analytics access to any third-party app's install base.
- Gameplay quality or fairness testing — we have not built a hands-on testing process for this yet.
- Safety-incident or complaint history — we don't maintain a complaint database for these apps.
Where a page uses the phrase "Insufficient Data," this is what it refers to — not a low score, an actual absence of evidence.
Why We Don't Publish a #1 "Best App" Ranking
A ranked, ordered list (1st, 2nd, 3rd…) implies we can measure overall quality across apps. We can't, yet — the only fields we can verify today (bonus amount, documentation depth, listing recency) are facts, not quality signals. A higher bonus is not evidence of a better app, and a "Core Listing Only" app is not evidence of a worse one — it may just be newer to our catalogue.
So instead of a ranked list, we publish comparisons: apps grouped by category, shown side-by-side against the criteria above, using the tier labels shown in the table — not numeric scores. You can see this in practice on our Compare Yono Apps page and on each category page (Rummy, Slots, Bingo, Spin).
We treat requests to rank by criteria we can't yet support — such as safety incidents or gameplay quality — as open questions, not gaps we'll paper over with a guess.
No Paid Ranking, and Link Disclosure
App operators can contact us about promotion. Any paid promotion is labelled "Sponsored" where it appears, and it never changes the facts we record about an app, its tier, or what we say we have not checked. Some download links on this site include a referral or tracking code from the app operator; this is how many of these apps' own referral programs work, and it does not change how an app is documented, tiered, or compared here.
Update Process
Documentation-completeness and verification-depth tiers are updated whenever we publish, revise, or remove a guide or verification article for an app. Bonus and withdrawal figures shown on listings reflect what the operator's own page states at the time we last checked it — always confirm the current figure in-app before relying on it.
